Whisper of better days,
And I still know so little.

do you have a secret?
:iconmsklystron:
:) Thanks! It's based on a sad, but true story...

Oh dear is right. The poor man thought he was heading off in the dark to take a leak in the shrubbery. Turned out it was treetops...
:iconarkhein:
That is quite clever. I've been trying to think of a six word story for the contest, but so far, nada, nothing, zilch. Oh well. :)

Thank you! I first became interested in them about a year ago, when I heard about this website asking for six-word movie plot synopses. Then Wired magazine did a story, which included six-word stories by a bunch of famous authors. I've been writing them now and then since then. Once you start writing them, it's hard to stop, so maybe you're better off...

"Eats, shoots, and leaves"

Ever read or heard of that book?

This reminded me of that...

Help me with my skyscraper.

LOL! Yes punctuation is important to the meaning. I don't expect to win. It's just that ever since I heard about six-word stories (last year?), I've been writing them.;)

I have read Eats, shoots, and leaves. It's really funny.
:icontreyos:
Good one. The punctuation is definitely key here. ;)
