Inspired by a woman I saw on the bus who had a port wine stain... She was proud and beautiful.

This really is wonderful : ) I have a port wine stain on the left side of my face and this is a wonderful wonderful concept. I've got quite a few friends whoe think that port wine stains make people unique and even more beautiful : ). Gorgeous piece of artwork

I'm so glad. The woman I saw that day, who inspired this piece, was beautiful and proud. You could think of your cosmetic facial difference as a magical diviner of ignorant people.;)

I think it has a really beautiful concept behind it. Great job! I have a port wine stain that spans the entire of my right arm so I do know what it feels like to be stared at by the public. But, it is such imperfections that make us only human so thank you for drawing this:)

Thank you! You are the first person with a port wine stain to respond to this. Your arm must have been hard to grow up with. The stares are only dumb instinct that makes us judge others as potential mates. Yes, if people really thought about it, instead of just reacted, they'd know that our differences make us distinct and sometimes stronger.:) That was the beauty I was trying to get at in this piece.

Very striking picture. I really like reading about what inspired you to paint it, too! :D

This turned out awesome. I love how the "stain" is the most attractive part of the image. Although everything looks really elegant.
