I really like the new direction you're taking. It brings your drawing and watercolour skills together nicely.

You've really created a mood of serenity in this piece with the pose and angle. The expressive inking and the soft, warm background provide interest and a nice contrast.

The drawing is executed well. I like the 'shaded' areas which almost seem like places on a map.

My only criticism is that the hair, which is nicely conveyed draws the eye away from the rest of the details and off the picture plane. narrower lines might have worked better or perhaps something heavier at her neck/ shoulder line to balance the hair. (Although I really like the way you've ended her in a 'V'. Perhaps more of the lighter linework in this area? Or maybe some paintwork in one of the deeper hues?
